- 描述：The First World Conference on Tourism for Development was held in Beijing， China from 18-21 May 2016 with a specific view to advancing the contribution of tourism to the Sustainable Development Goals （SDG）. The event was jointly organized by the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the World Tourism Organization （UNWTO）. Several heads of state and government as well as tourism ministers and senior officials from over 100 countries participated in this significant gathering of the international tourism community in 2016. 5月19日，由中国政府与联合国世界旅游组织联合主办、国家旅游局和北京市人民政府共同承办的首届世界旅游发展大会（以下简称“世界旅发会”）正式在北京人民大会堂开幕。
